In times of alternative facts and fake news, it is more important than ever to talk about science. But how do you find the right connection to the audience and who should actually be addressed?
In this course, we will explore how to present one’s own science and topic in a way that is appropriate for the target audience and which channels are available for meaningful communication.

Dr. Sascha Vogel is a physicist, science communicator, and founder of science birds GmbH. After a decade in academia and science management — doing his own research as well as supporting over thousand doctoral researchers in graduate schools — he shifted focus to science communication. As a national award-winning science slammer and creator of the show “Physics in Hollywood”, he has inspired wide audiences with his unique blend of entertainment and education. Recently he started science 42, a science communication agency focussing on trainings and supporting academia, and NÖÖRDS, a science-entertainment brand for curious minds.
