Creativity in Science Workshop

April 29, 2026 @ 9:00 am April 30, 2026 @ 4:00 pm

Kolloquium 5.10, Von-Seckendorff-Platz 1, Heide-Campus, 5.OG

Description
Creativity in Science is a two-day, practice-oriented workshop that treats creativity as a structured cognitive skill, not as inspiration or talent. Using LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® as a core methodology, participants externalize their thinking, make hidden assumptions visible, and build individual and shared models of complex research challenges. The workshop enables scientists to reframe research questions, understand their work as part of larger systems, and identify concrete, realistic leverage points for innovation under real scientific constraints such as time pressure, funding logic, and publication demands.
