Get to know Celina Noack

Celina Noack is a Phd candidate in the group of Daniel Wefers. She is doing research in development and structure-property-relationships of partially methylated glucanes.

What’s your most-used productivity hack?

I write a weekly todo list with all the tasks I want to get done and set one
clear goal for the week. This way, I keep the bigger picture in mind and can
plan and prioritize my week more effectively.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

Whenever I feel nervous, I take three deep breaths and tell myself, “I can do this.”

What would you work if you weren‘t a scientist?

If I weren’t a scientist, I’d probably work in a skilled trade, maybe as a
carpenter.

What is the best balance to work?

Spending time with people you enjoy in your free time, doing sports to
relieve stress, and reading a good book to find calm and relaxation.
